This course introduces students to the fundamental principles, techniques, and ethics of photojournalism. It explores the role of photographs in storytelling, news reporting, and documentary work. Emphasis is placed on developing technical skills in photography, including composition, lighting, camera operation, and editing, as well as cultivating a critical understanding of visual narratives and their impact on society. Students will engage in practical assignments to build portfolios and develop the ability to capture compelling, truthful, and contextually accurate images.
