This course examines the ethical issues and challenges faced by media professionals in print, broadcast, online media, and public relations. It provides a theoretical and practical understanding of ethical principles, standards, and dilemmas in media, and explores the evolving landscape of media ethics in the digital age. It also explores the practice of journalism in the Rwandan cultural context and how Rwandan cultural values impact media practice. Through case studies, students will develop critical thinking skills to analyze ethical issues across different platforms and craft informed, responsible approaches to media practice.
